DataPower implementation projects are of special interest to us as we see great potential in appliance-based computing, especially in the SOA space with its high complexity and strenuous performance requirements. XML appliances provide a viable alternative to overcomplicated software ESB products and other components of a SOA stack. Additionally, appliances serve as XML parsing performance boosters and XML firewalls, making them truly unique “SOA-in-a-box” kind of product.
